Emeline Jones selected as Graduate School and Interdisciplinary Studies director

The graduate school is pleased to announce Emeline Jones has been selected to serve as the director of the Graduate School and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Anupma Prakash said, "I am happy that Emiline, who has been serving as the interim director since January, has accepted an offer as the director."
Jones has rolled out several process improvements in the graduate school, including streamlining admissions processes and improved tracking of graduate student progress toward degree completion.
Provost Prakash added, "Her continuity in this position is going to help take these initiatives further strengthening 黑料黑历史s efforts to enhance graduate student success."
Jones joined 黑料黑历史 as the assistant director of the Graduate School and Interdisciplinary Studies in June 2023.
